Hockey in Canada
Existe o esteriotipo de que todos os canadianos adoram hockey. Eu vivo no Canada desde 15 de Julho de 2012 (a quase 1 ano!) e pelo que tenho observado, esse esteriotico nao foge muito da realidade.
Claro que nem todos os cidadaos canadianos idolatram este desporto, mas, pelo menos em Edmonton, e raro encontrar alguem que nao seja adepto/a dos Edmonton Oilers, a equipa de hochey local.
O maior shopping de Edmonton (e alguns dizem o maior ou 1 dos maiores shoppings da America do Norte!)!, o West Edmonton Mall, tem um ringue no seu interior, onde tanto escolas de patinagem artistica como jogadores de hockey de equipas amadoras podem praticar.
