Finally some good news. :)

Hoje recebi o meu novo cartao de debito! :D (Quem acompanha o meu blog sabe que perdi os meus cartoes de debito e credito no dia 27 de Setembro e, desde entao embarquei numa saga de telefonemas, e-mails, faxes para o meu banco - Caixa Geral de Depositos - tanto na agencia onde abri a minha conta bancaria, na minha terra natal, como para o escritorio de representacao do banco em Toronto).

E hoje, (finalmente!!) tive o meu problema parcialmente resolvido. Digo parcialmente, porque tenho que contactar o banco (novamente!), desta vez para que o cartao de debito que recebi seja activado e ainda tenho que enviarr uma carta a pedir a substituicao do meu cartao de credito, visto que foi 1 dos cartoes que perdi  no final de Setembro e ainda nao chegou nenhum cartao de credito, apenas o de debito. De qualquer das formas, depois de um tormento de semanas de burocracia, finalmente comeco a ver uma luz ao fundo do tunel na resolucao deste problema.

Do servico Caixa directa (online banking) e que ainda nada... Falei com uma assitente desse servico para activar o servico Caixa Directa e poder aceder ao chamado online banking para mais facilmente poder gerir a minha conta e resolver problemas deste genero, e na altura (semanas atras!) disseram-me que iriam enviar-me uns formularios de adesao a esse servico, mas ate agora ainda nao recebi nada por parte deles. :/ Paciencia tem limites!!!

Lembram-se que me queixei dos -11C que aqui se fizeram sentir no dia 30 de Outubro?
Pois... Hoje os termometros registaram -14C!!

Se estao -14C em Novembro, eu nem quero imaginar quando chegarmos a Dezembro e Janeiro, tradicionalmente os meses mais frios do ano...

Although is reaaaallly cold outside, we decide to make a quick visit to the Pride Center of Edmonton and pass some quality time together. :) And, of course, we took some pics of the snow. Isn't snow beautiful?
